On . the . Wall





While we usually don't think of a room coming together until the furniture, accessories, rugs, curtains, etc. are in place, sometimes it's nice to remember that a single piece - like the tapestries above - can have a big impact.

These fabrics can brighten up a room, create a focal point, or substitute for framed art. They're also comparatively inexpensive - you can find sale yardage at places like JoAnn Fabrics or Michaels, vintage fabrics on eBay, or handmade pieces on ETSY, in local antique shops, or sometimes even thrift stores.

This first pic made me smile! I call it bohemain/grandma chic. The tapestry just freshens up the whole space! I will need to find one of these soon!
